CNA Med Wed & Fri Day Spring 2017

Medications course follows standardized curriculum approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing. The purpose of this course is to teach experienced certified nurses assistants to administer selected noninjectable medications to patients who are 4 years of age and older. This standardized medication course will provide the basis of understanding needed for the certified nursing assistant (CNA) to administer medications accurately and safely.

National Electrical Code 2017 - Spring 2017

The National Electrical Code is the basis for electrician installations. This class will cover NEC requirements exclusively with no time allotted for labs or theory. Conductor sizing, wiring methods, residential calculations as well as motor, transformer, commercial/industrial wiring requirements, and special occupancy wiring methods will be examined. This class will be presented in PowerPoint format accompanying the text “Illustrated Guide to the National Electrical Code”. Emphasis will be placed on the thorough understanding of the layout of the NEC and its efficient use. This course meets the licensing requirements of the Electrician Examining Board in the State of Maine.
