Nibbling on wild edible plants is a powerful way to connect with your local landscape. In this two-hour class, naturalist and wild food forager Josh Fecteau will inspire you to branch out and try some of the tasty, wild offerings found within and beyond your gardens and yards. He’ll discuss his essential foraging guidelines, emphasizing personal safety and respectful gathering, as well as share some helpful tips, including identifying several fantastic foraging teachers, books and websites. Through photos, information and stories, you’ll get to know an assemblage of plants who offer sensory experiences you can’t get from your neighborhood grocery store!
