In this gentle introduction to basic weaving, we’ll be working with colorful yarns and Y-shaped branches. Please bring one sturdy Y-shaped branch approximately 1/2” or larger in diameter. Geode Painting - Spring 2019

$54

with Tara Finlay

Calendar Next session starts Apr 4, 2019 at 6 pm, runs for 2 weeks

If you like bling, crystals, sparkle, and color, this class is for you. We’ll make a work of art based on a geode or agate slice using real crystals, tinted resin and other embellishments. 18+ only due to working with the resin. If you are sensitive you may need to purchase a respirator mask. The area we will be working in is ventilated and the resin does not have a scent. If you have crystals you want to use, you can bring them. Small points work best or small tumbled semi-precious stones. Wear old clothes and bring an apron. First night: Design your geode painting, apply the crystals and tint the resin. The resin will cure before the next class. Second night: This is the night to fix any issues you may have had with the initial design, and to embellish the surface of your geode painting.
